Welcome to SayBridge.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User” or “you”) and the developer and operator of SayBridge (“we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your download, installation, access to, and use of the SayBridge mobile application (“SayBridge,” the “App,” or the “Service”).
Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using SayBridge, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
SayBridge is a language assistance application that provides features including:
l Text translation;
l Voice translation;
l Camera translation;
l Text-to-speech playback;
l Copying translated or entered text;
l Vocabulary learning materials;
Certain functions may require access to your device’s camera, microphone, internet connection, speaker, or clipboard. Some functions may also depend on speech recognition, advertising, analytics, or technical service providers.
Features may vary depending on the device model, operating system, selected language, network availability, region, and version of the App.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use SayBridge on a compatible device for lawful personal purposes.
This license does not transfer any ownership rights in the App to you. You may not:
l Copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App;
l Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, or attempt to obtain the App’s source code;
l Remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, or other proprietary notices;
l Circumvent security measures, technical restrictions, or access controls;
l Use automated systems to access, test, scrape, overload, or interfere with the App; or Use SayBridge in any manner that violates applicable laws or the rights of another person.
To provide translation and related functions, SayBridge may process text, speech, camera images, and conversation content that you choose to submit.
Depending on the feature and technical implementation, this content may be processed on your device or securely transmitted to third-party service providers that provide translation, speech recognition.
You retain your rights in the content you submit. You grant us and the relevant service providers a limited right to process that content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, protect, and improve the requested function.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit or process any text, recording, photograph, or other content through SayBridge.
You should not submit highly confidential, legally privileged, commercially sensitive, or otherwise sensitive information unless you understand and accept the potential risks involved in using an automated translation service.
SayBridge may request device permissions only when they are needed for a corresponding feature.
l Camera access may be used to capture text for camera translation.
l Microphone access may be used for voice and conversation translation.
l Speaker access may be used to play translated text aloud.
l Clipboard functions may allow you to copy text from SayBridge for use elsewhere.
You can decline optional permissions, but the related functions may then be unavailable. SayBridge will not intentionally activate the camera or microphone without a user-initiated action and the required system permission.
Once copied content is pasted into another application or shared outside SayBridge, its handling is governed by that application or service. You are responsible for reviewing the privacy and usage practices of third-party applications you choose to use.
Translations, transcriptions, pronunciations, text recognition results, and other generated outputs are produced using automated technologies. These results may contain errors, omissions, mistranslations, inappropriate wording, or differences in meaning.
SayBridge does not guarantee that:
l A translation will be complete, accurate, current, or suitable for a particular purpose;
l Speech recognition will correctly identify every word or speaker;
l Text in a photograph will always be detected correctly;
l Pronunciation or text-to-speech output will match every regional accent or usage; or conversation translation will reflect the exact intent, tone, or context of each speaker.
SayBridge is not a certified translation service and should not be relied upon as the sole source for legal, medical, financial, immigration, safety-related, emergency, or other high-risk decisions. Important translations should be independently reviewed by a qualified professional.
You remain responsible for how you interpret, communicate, publish, or otherwise use translation results.
You agree not to use SayBridge to:
l Violate any applicable law or regulation;
l Create, translate, store, or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or abusive material;
l Harass, exploit, impersonate, or harm another person;
l Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
l Process another person’s private communications, voice, image, or personal information without appropriate permission;
l Create deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading communications;
l Introduce viruses, malicious code, or other harmful technology;
l Interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or connected services; or
l Use translation results in a way that may cause unlawful harm to another person.
We may restrict or discontinue access to the App if we reasonably believe that the App is being used unlawfully, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.
SayBridge may rely on third-party services to provide translation, speech recognition, text recognition, text-to-speech, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or other technical functions.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, security, or conduct of independent third-party services.
The App may display advertisements supplied by third parties. Your interaction with an advertisement, advertiser, or external website is solely between you and the relevant third party. We do not endorse or guarantee third-party products, services, claims, or content merely because they appear in the App.
We may update, improve, modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue any part of SayBridge when reasonably necessary for technical, security, legal, operational, or product-related reasons.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system. Network conditions, third-party services, language support, device limitations, and other factors outside our control may affect performance.
You are responsible for installing available updates and maintaining a compatible device and operating system.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses arising from or relating to your use of or inability to use SayBridge.
This includes losses resulting from:
l Inaccurate or incomplete translations;
l Misunderstandings caused by translated or spoken content;
l Loss, disclosure, or misuse of content copied or transferred to another application;
l Temporary service interruptions;
l Third-party services, advertisements, or external websites; or
l Unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
SayBridge is not directed to children under the age of 13.
If you are under the age at which you may independently accept these Terms in your country or region, you may use SayBridge only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a minor’s use of the App and determining whether the App’s content and functions are appropriate.
You may stop using SayBridge at any time by uninstalling the App.
Your permission to use the App automatically terminates if you materially violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App.
Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute resolution, and other provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the App, applicable laws, technical requirements, or our operating practices.
The revised Terms will be made available through the App or another reasonable method, and the “Last Updated” date will be changed accordingly. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice before material changes take effect.
Your continued use of SayBridge after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the App.
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the App operator is established, without excluding any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the laws of your country or region.
If a dispute arises, you agree to contact us first and attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith communication. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may submit it to a court or other competent authority with jurisdiction under applicable law.
